Alessandra Pennino was born in Sicily in 1994.
Since she was little she has been looking fascinated to her grandfather manipulating wood and doing small manual works with great care, she has decided in this way to attend the Artistic high school and then the Fine Arts Academy.

From some years she has been approaching the artisanal world, curiosity is one of her characteristics, she loves observing the details of everything, studying them and taking notes in some ways.
For this reason she has begun working clay, making innovative and modern products.

The simplicity and the elegance of ceramic, the hardness and the smoothness of wood, the pastosity and the colors of painting have captured her heart and she aims to send all of this in her products.

Techniques: the modelation of this stones take many passages and especially lots of patient. Initially it has been modelled the central round stone, after the right hardness has been reaches, it has been possible modeling the lateral little balls of the tambourine. After it has been possible decorate it through the engobes. When the color was dry the stones have been baked, and only after sinked in the magic crystaline in order to make them shiny and bright.
