Wine tourism – Criante – Perciasacchi Tour

The tasting starts with a tour of the farm, starting from the vineyard where, walking among the filars, the visitator will discover the age of the vines and, if he or she is lucky, he or she can join the harvest, a moment in which all the family joins together making festive the hot sicilian harvests. The visit continues in our near fields to explore the local ancient wheats whose cultivation represents the liberation of a population that fought against international politics which forced their productions to a historical low. The visit follows with a stop by our organic garden, with the chance to self harvest the seasonal products which the land offers. The tour around our lands ends with a visit to our chickens sleeping on the trees and the collection of eggs which we will use in the kitchen.

The tasting will take place in Sicilì, our organic shop, where they will be presented 4 artisanal wines, paired with “Perciasacchi” bruschette, an ancient sicilian grain cultivated many years ago and wisely kept by our farm, seasoned with our extra vergin olive oil and dry tomatoes of our production, a selection of local cheeses and oven cooked frittatine with organic eggs and seasonal vegetables.
